This March 3rd is World Wildlife Day, proclaimed by the UN in 2013 in order to raise public awareness about the importance of wild fauna and flora. And, on the occasion of this day, in Aspro we'd like to reaffirm our commitment to caring for the environment.
At Aspro we believe that sustainability that only looks at the economy and forgets about nature is simply not sustainable, that is why our daily commitment to caring for the environment. This is part of our triple impact model, where we seek to grow economically while promoting social and environmental improvements. We fulfill our social commitment by supporting various social causes, such as the campaign "Weaving ties with the community” for Children's Day.
Our commitment to the environment
At Aspro, we fulfill our commitment to the environment by giving training and creating green spaces in our offices. We are convinced that these spaces are vital, as we believe that nature makes a better work space. In this way we managed to reduce stress levels and increase the creativity and well-being of our workers. This is how we also promote the growth of flora in our Tigre plant.
However, Aspro's greatest contribution to caring for the environment is our own line of business. Natural gas has several advantages over other energy sources, as not only is it cheaper, but also significantly less polluting. CNG, therefore, will be a key factor in the path towards the energy transition to cleaner sources of energy.
The climate crisis may seem like a distant risk where there is not much a company or person can do about it. However, from Aspro we want this World Wildlife Day to raise awareness that we can all saver energy, plant trees, or recycle, and thus together take care of the environment.
